Learn more about our WI
We are based in central Beeston but welcome members from a wider area. As well as our Members’ Meeting (2nd Wednesday evening of each month) we offer the chance to meet with members at our other regular events. We don’t claim to be great jam makers and “Jerusalem” is not on our agenda!
We currently have over 40 members with a variety of ages, backgrounds and interests. Joining the WI is a great way to discover new activities, education and to make new friends! Our “special interest” groups are a popular way to get to know other members in a smaller group and include craft, cafe, book, restaurant groups.
COMING UP!
We are welcoming visitors to our December meeting when we have Milly Lawson recounting tales about a Victorian Christmas. The meeting is on Wednesday 11th December and this a great way to find out more about The Hive WI and the interesting events we have coming up in 2025! There will be a charge of £5 for visitors which will go towards our meeting costs and includes some refreshments. We will be holding an Xmas Raffle also. If you would like to join us then it would help our planning if you can email us at thehivewi@ gmail.com. We meet in church hall on Foster Avenue (Church of the Assumption), Beeston NG9 1AE.
