These are a great way to get to know other members in a small group who have similar interests or visit a favourite place or perhaps try for the first time! Most groups have a key member who will make sure you’re kept up to date with arrangements. Suggestions for new groups always welcome.

• Supper Club: always a great evening at one of the wide choice of restaurants we have in Beeston – 3rd Wednesday of each month, usually 7pm.
• Crafternoon:  bring along your own craft and enjoy chatting to other members. Usually meet at Methodist Church, Chilwell High Road – 3rd Saturday of the month 2pm – 4pm. There is a £3 per member charge towards room hire. Special workshops occasionally organised.
• Cafe Society: a great chance to enjoy Cake and Chat at one of our many local cafes – 3rd Wednesday of the month, usually 2pm onwards.
• Thursday Book Club: group members chose a book each month and discuss via online using Messenger, although chat is rarely limited to the book – 4th Thursday of each month at 7pm.
• Walk, Talk ‘n’ Cake: Enjoy a walk along a planned route with lots of chatter, which always includes cake along the way – 4th Sunday for different walks (10:00)
• Cinema Group: is there a film you would like to see at The Arc, Beeston? Join the WhatsApp group and ask if anyone else is interested!
