The Hive WI is a modern branch of the Women’s Institute, catering to a wide range of ages, based in Beeston, Nottingham. Joining the WI is a fantastic way for women to meet each other, make friends, and create a community!
We meet once a month (on the 2nd Wednesday) at 7:30pm in the church hall (Church of the Assumption) on Foster Avenue, Beeston NG9 1AE. Tea & Cake is (of course!) available at our meetings, we recommend bringing a mug with you!
We also have a number of sub-groups (‘Walk, Talk & Cake’, ‘Café Club’, ‘Craft & Chat’, ‘Book Group’) which are open to our members.
Visitors are very welcome to come along to a main meeting and are invited to pay a small voluntary donation towards our meeting costs (cash only – suggestion of £5). It would be helpful if you could let us know you intend to come via the ‘contact us’ form, where we would also be happy to answer any questions!
Please see our 25/26 programme below:
Note that this schedule has been changed in October and November as follows
October: Knitted Knockers UK
November: The History of Melton Mowbray & it’s famous Pies (with pies to taste!)
